Connection. Contribution. Community.
Honoring Chase Rideout Hyde
by creating spaces to play, connect, and grow.
WHY WE EXIST
We invest in connection, compassion, and kids.
We carry forward Chase’s soulful, inclusive spirit — making room for every kid who needs to feel they belong. Through scholarships, youth sports, and service projects, we build the spaces Chase would have loved.

Who was Chase?
Chase was the kid who spotted the outsider, threw the extra pass, and made sure everyone belonged. Humble, intuitive, deeply caring — qualities we honor in every court we build and every scholarship we award.
HOW WE ACT
Courts built. Futures funded. Communities served.
Basketball
Courts of Kindness: Building belonging through basketball
Basketball was Chase’s joy — and his way in. It gave him a space to connect, compete, and create friendships that crossed all boundaries. Today, we carry that forward by building and restoring courts that are free, inclusive, and welcoming to all kids, regardless of background or ability.
Each fall, we host Hoops for Hyde — a 3-on-3 basketball tournament where community comes first. No tryouts, no egos — just play.
Proceeds fund new courts and youth leadership programming, creating space for kids to show up as they are and belong as a team.
Scholarships
The Chase Rideout Hyde Leadership Scholarship
Chase didn’t win every award or ace every test — but he changed the room when he walked in. He listened, noticed who was left out, and brought people together. That’s quiet leadership.
Each year, we award scholarships to graduating seniors who reflect the qualities that defined Chase: empathy, humility, and the courage to lead with heart. These students aren’t always the loudest. but they’re the ones you never forget.
Our goal? To invest in the next generation of thoughtful, community-rooted leaders — kids who see people deeply, just like Chase did.
Service
Doing Good, Together
Chase was the kind of kid who showed up — whether it was helping a friend, fixing something broken, or joining a project with zero recognition. He didn’t just want to be useful, he wanted to be part of it.
In his honor, we organize youth-driven service projects that bring people together to build something bigger than themselves. From park cleanups to playground restoration, every initiative is about connection, contribution, and community.
Because for Chase, showing up mattered more than showing off.
IMPACT SO FAR
One court. One team. One story at a time.
This is what love looks like in numbers. In every court and every scholarship, Chase’s spirit shows up.
“We can’t bring Chase back. But we can bring forward what he gave us — belonging, joy, and deep care for the kid on the edge of the group.”
— Kip Hollister-Hyde, Chase’s mom
