The Numbers are
Just the Beginning.
Every stat, scholarship, and court shows what can happen when you show up for someone who needs to feel seen.
The Numbers So Far
2 community courts built or resurfaced—safe, open spaces where anyone can play.
19 scholarships awarded to students who lead with empathy and humility.
449 generous hearts powering every program we run.
Every score table volunteered, every sponsorship dollar, every half-day of service stacks up to something Chase would recognize: belonging made visible.
Scroll the gallery below to see what those numbers look like in real life.

Courts That Welcome Everyone
We start with asphalt and end with community. From Chickering Elementary’s brand new Chase Rideout Hyde Memorial Court to Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center’s new half-court and playground, each space is designed with input from local kids — accessible rims, fresh lines, and bright colors that say you’re invited.
Scholarships That Elevate Quiet Leaders
Our scholarship recipients aren’t trophy collectors; they’re glue people. They notice the teammate who’s struggling, organize the food drive nobody else has time for, and lead with steady heart. Your donations put real dollars behind that kind of leadership.
Service Projects That Connect Neighbors
Paintbrushes, shovels, coats collected on a cold morning—small acts that add up. Volunteers log more than 500 hours each year, proving that showing up beats getting it perfect.
Stories Behind the Stats
“City Year is so appreciative of the work completed as part of the Hoops for Hyde program. With an amazing group of volunteers, we renovated a basketball area used in after school and summer programming for hundreds of students in Dorchester. The Hoops for Hyde group joined us in a thoughtful and caring way to make sure students had space outdoors for play and find joy - a critical part of learning and skill-building. ”
“Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center was honored to be the first Hoops for Hyde service project. August 14, 2021 was an incredibly special day for Sportsmen’s - not only was a fabulous new basketball hoop installed but all of our playground graphics and picnic tables were refreshed by family and friends of this very special young man. Chase Hyde’s memory shines each time one of our kids makes a basket!”
